Privacy Policy

RingVid ("we", "us") is a service operated by Kukpo Holdings. RingVid helps local businesses share short video messages with their own customers over the phone. When a business's customer receives a call, a video the business chose is shown, and a link to that video is delivered by text message.

Information We Collect

• Business account holders: the phone number you use to sign in, and optionally your name and business name.
• Recipients (customers): the phone number and optional name a business enters or imports in order to send a video, plus basic records of the messages and calls sent.
• Basic technical data needed to deliver messages and operate the service.

App Permissions (Android)

The RingVid Android app requests the following device permissions. It uses them only for the purposes described here, and does not collect this data for advertising or sell it.

• Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): Accessed only when you tap "Import contacts." The app reads names and phone numbers from your device so you can choose recipients for your video messages. Only the contacts you actually select to save or send to are stored in your account; the rest are not uploaded or retained.
• Phone state (READ_PHONE_STATE / call detection): Used to detect the moment an incoming call arrives so the app can display the matching video full-screen on the device. The app checks the caller number against your account to show the correct video; it does not record calls or upload your call log.
• Display over other apps, notifications, and full-screen intent: Used to show the incoming video on screen and to post missed-video notifications on your own device.

How We Use Information

We use the information solely to operate the service you requested — signing you in, delivering the requested video link, placing the call, showing the video on the recipient's device, and keeping your account's sending records. We do not use your information for any unrelated purpose.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We use service providers (such as our messaging carrier and hosting provider) only to deliver the service, under confidentiality obligations.

Data Retention

We keep account and sending records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at the address below; we will delete it within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain it by law.

Opt-Out

Recipients may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Once a recipient replies STOP, we automatically stop sending to that number.

Children's Privacy

RingVid is a tool for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
